I'm Ellen Keiter. I live in this little log cabin in the woods where I design and produce all my artwork. I create my cards here, printing them on photo paper with my trusty Epson printer. Then, on the back of each piece, I hand color a tiny heart, into which I put my intention of love for the ones sending and receiving it. I carefully cut, fold and package my cards myself, giving them a professional presentation.
Presently, my cards can be found at selected fine gift shops in the MetroWest Boston area.
Below the hand-colored heart on every card is the following artist's statement:
This artwork evolved from a desire to show love to those around me. Love is the reason I do my artwork, and my reason for life itself. Love is life and love is God, in all the many names and forms there are on this beautiful Earth. I pray we may all understand this some day.
